THE LAST LAP.
FORCES GATHERING IN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAURANGA, this day. Mr. Harry Atmore, M.P. for Nelson, arrived here from Te Aroha last evening. He will speak in the Town Hall tonight and at Te Puke to-morrow night. It is understood Mr. Massey will be here to-morrow night, but it "is not yet announced where he will speak. It is also rumoured that Mr. McLcod. M.P. for Wairarapa, is coming here. Mr. Lysnar M.P. for Gisborne, arrived here from Te Aroha last night, but is not to speak. It is denied by Reformers that his visit has any political significance, but it is asserted by others that he is here as the result of Mr. Macmillan's replies to the Prohibtion party's questions. Sir Joseph is visiting the Te Puke district to-day, and will be round about here tomorrow, finishing up in the Town Hall to-morrow evening. Mr. Macmillan is also working in country districts, and speaks hero to-morrow night, either in the open air or in one of the halls.
