ARBITRATION COURT.
SITTING IX WKI.LIXGTOX. (By Telegraph. — rr.-ss, Association.) SVELLIXCrTOX, this day. The Arbitration Court opened here today. Eleven disputes are set down for hearing, and the session will probably last a fortnight. A complete settlement was reported h the SS'ellington biograph operators' dispute, and an award will be framed accordingly. Interpretation of a point arising out of the Seamen's Award was sought by Air. Young (secretary,, who asked 'what allowance was to be made for the value of food supplied in assessing n-eekly wages payable to seamen under the Compensation Act. The president of the Court stated that the Court had no jurisdiction to answer -. he question in the form in which it was put.
