TWELVE MILLION VOTE.
HOME DEFENCE SQUADRONS. MORE RESEARCH WORK. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 11.30 a.m.). LONDON, March 9. The Air Force Estimates amount to £12,000,000 as compared with £10,895,000 in 1022-23. The increase is due to the decision to increase the number of Home defence squadrons, and increases for experimental research work. The total includes five millions for services in the Middle East.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
