. I A somewhat unique gathering is to be held on Monday afternoon at the V.M.C.A. Buildings, being a reunion of the founders of the Auckland Branch of the Sunday School Union. The followin? are Ktill resident in Auckland; Messrs. Seering. H. Matthews, Mr. David Goldie, John Ellyett, and Enoch Wood, j Two other euriviving founders are the j Hon. Gilbert Carsen of Wanganui, ana | Mr. Edwin Glanville, who for many years has resided in England. Mr. Ell"yett is now a veteran over 90 years of age, and still treasurer of Newton Congregational Church. He has a record of 70 years as a Sunday School worker. At the gathering on Monday afternoon, Mr. Ellyett ie to be presented with a special I diploma for long service.
