Wiliord, Leader of the Opposition, stated to-nigut that the LiberalLabour party, after conferring with representatives in the Wauomo constituency and those concerned with the petition lodged on behalf of the late Mr. W. T. Jennings, against the return of Mr. J. C. Rolleston for the Waitomo seat, had decided not to proceed further with the petition.
