A report from the Legal and 'Finance Committee recommending that the Council accept the offer of the trustees of the estate of the late Thomae Waddell in regard to the dedication of a strip of land In Athlon Lane was ndontpd. ! A report was received from the foreman as follows:— Great South Road.—(Men are now engaged' patching thto road, and all efforts are concentrated on this work while the good weather lasts. The work of the new reservclr is progressing satisfactorily. Levels on Great South Road at the Junction with i Station Road were taken with a view or • ■clearing the storm water that accumulates ,at Mr. Pearson's corner. A comprehensive ! report on the matter was tendered, costing approximately £129. The Council agreed to provide a cesspit ito carry the etorm water from iFark Road.
