PUBLIC SERVICE

SITTING OF APPEAL BOARD. The Public Service Appeal Board, consisting of Messrs. P. Barr (chairman), F. \V. Franagan, H. C. Hulme and C. RAndrews, commenced its sittings in Auckland this afternoon. There are a .number of appeals to be dealt with, and the board will be engaged here for four or five days. Mr. F. VV. Miller, general secretary of the Public Service Association, is appearing for the appellants.
