Iri'i'iiry made this morning as to whether the ending of the Government control of wheat, yesterday would result in lower prices ruling for flour with the opening of March elicited the information that quotations are nor altered. This is no doubt due to the fact that the agreement made between millers and farmers fined the price of good milling wheat at sevenpence per bushel more than sales had been made ar. in the South towards the end of February Prior to this ivrrwrnnc n>--v season's Tuscan wheat was selling at l/o per bushel. Hunters 4 7 an.l Hear! 4/9. Under the agreement, ju-t entered into the prices agreed upon are .1/1 for Tuscan, 5/3 for Hunter-, and •". ■', for Pearl. In addition, millers are to pay twopence per bushel for a creation fund for the administration of the agreement. It i.s provided that thin agr--enw.r -nail be ineffective, if the embargo against imported flour is lifted by the Oovernment. or if the Government fixes lower prices per ton than £15 10/ for Hour. £-, for bran, and £7 for sharps.
