CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALES.
AN EASIER TONE. COARSE WOOLS AFFECTED. [By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. At the further wool sales there was a full ring of buyers, but the demand was not SO brisk as at the previous sale, and inclined to drag at times. There was an all round easing of prices, although fine wools were less affected'than coarse. The wool generally was not in such good condition as previously. As the sale progressed, and some better lota were offered, it was evident from the price 3 paid that the demand is quite as keen as it was last sale for all super fleece wools, though crossbred is not quite so firm, and for all shabby wools the demand is weaker, prices being Id to l£d per lb lower than at the previous sale. Merino fleece made up to 27_d, Corriedale 23_d, half-bred 26d, three-quarter-bred lOd, and crossbred 16} d.
