The weather was tine for training operations lit lOllerslie this morning, hut it was somewhat hazy, ami it was difficult to pick up the posts at tlio top of tlip course. All the work of Importance was recorded on the No. 3 (trass track, which was in good order. Emerald Hill was first to claim attention, galloping six furlong* in 1.18 4-H. Nocturne, alone, spurted four furlongs in 53 l-ss. Young. Thurnham was just in front of Narrow Neck at the end of six furlongs, run in 1.17. Alfort pleased better tUan Mumble over five furlongs, run in I.S 4-fi. Polinl mid Flowing Row! were together at the end of a round iv 1.42 3-3. Klsle Aroha was not doing her best to cover four furlongs iv 57 i-.'is. Lady Patience covering the same distance in 53 4-ss. I'ncle .lack, alone. Kalloped six furlongs iv 1.17 J-n. Ijihertas and the Flagship colt sprinted five furlongs in 1.7 4-5. the former pleasing most. Importer ran along four furlongs in 555. Sycornx and Sonlterlna traversed « round in 1.41. finishing together. I July Rldk-ule went fast over four furlongs, which she ran in 50s. Kopaka and Walton, from a stand, sprinted live furlougs in 1.0. Smoke Concert, with the assistance ol the two-year-old Turn over the last three furlongs galloped six furlongs iv 1.17 3-5. Turn, which finished in front, running the three furlongs in 40s. Just Quietly beat .Bannock over four furlongs iv 50 4-us. Canowindra wass not doing his best to cover a round in 1.48.
Gold Plane and Semper Idem ran six furlongs In 1.20. the former having the better of it. On the two-year-old track Tresillion was better than Gala Day over five furlongs in 1.8. After breakfast Bonny Canny and Praiseworthy covered five furlongs in 1.8 2-5. General Pryde spurted three furlongs in •10s. Sentlnella going on a furlong further in 545. Wish Wynne finished better than Daloopll over a round In 1.45 2-5. Golden Bubble sprinted five furlongs In 1.3. Cool Stimulants doing the same task ill the same time. Sir Pain ran four furlongs in 50 2-5«. the same distance taking Freshman and Tintoretto 525. Martde Crag, alone, got to the end of six furlongs In 1.17. Prettyman easily beat Wairarapa over five furlongs in 1.3. the last named taking 1.5 Comedy Prince traversed a round, spurting home four furlongs in 545. THE .TPMPERs. Sylvia Scarlett. Head Sweet. Regardless, and Wharepou were sent over six hurdles. At the first Sylvia Scarlett came to grief. Warner having hie back bruised, and Wbarepoa led all the way. with Regardless second, both fencing well. ' Dead Sweet stopped at the fourth obstacle, and was taken off, afterwards jumping a hurdle alone. Pittsworth and Vociferate were jumped over the sod wall, double, and stone wall, both giving a good display.
