Ernest Greenslade, who re- I cently retired from the position of town , clerk* of Birkenhead after ten years' . service, has returned from a month's ( holiday trip to Wanganui and Rotortia. Mr. Clement A. Suckling was admitted as a barrister at the Supreme Court this morning by Mr. Justice Herdman.j Messrs. S. C. Clarke and James K. I Molloy were admitted as solicitor?. j; Mr. J. Hay, who has been a resident j of Devonport for many years, first as; postmaster and more recently as Regis- j trar of Electors for Waitemata elector- 1 ate. is leaving the borough and taking; up his residence in Mount Eden district.! Cabled information from the Trinity j College of Music. London, states that : Mr. Albert Mallinson. the famous com- j poser and song-writer, will visit Xew ■ Zealand to conduct the examinations on ; behalf of the college for the Xorth Is- j land. He is due to arrive in Auckland | during July. j
