U.S. COMBINE LAW.
ACTION AGAINST ARMOURS.
WASHINGTON, February 26. The Secretary for Agriculture, Mr. H. C. Wallace, has served a complaint against the Armour and Morris Packing Companies, alleging that a proposed Merger of the two interests would violate 'he packers' control law. The companies will be given a hearing °n April 2, after which, if Mr. Wallace brings evidence that supports his claim, legal measures will be taken to prevent we combine.—(A. and X.Z. Cable.)
