THAMES HARBOUR LOAN.
OPPOSITION BY FARMERS. (Bj Te.lojcvjph -Own Orresponiont.) MORRINSVILLE, this day. The determination to organise opposition to the Thames Harbour scheme loan is growing in districts round Morrin?villp and Matamata. A meeting of suppliers to the Te Poi dairy factory unanimously decided to oppose the loan, offers of motor cars and canvassers being made. It is estimated that oti a fW.OOO loan Matsmata County Council's contribution would rrquire a rate of one farthing In the pound.
