INMATES TRAPPED. 13 BURNED TO DEATH. i Received 9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK. February 2... A shocking disaster occurred last night in a tenement house in Kansas City, which took tire and was burned to the ground. Many of the inmates were trapped in the burning building and were unable to escape, while others were apparently suffocated by the smoke in their sleep.
