RE DOUGLAS STUART WYLIE.

Sir.—My attention has just been drawn to a paragraph in your issue of 21st inst. referring to the order annulling the order of adjudication made against mc in my absence on 10th August last. Portion of this paragraph reads: "It was stated by Mr. Meredith that Wylie. estate was being realized by the Official Asignee. and was expected to pay 11/o in the _.'' 1 desire to state that during tlie annulment proceedings it was proved (inter alia) (1) that when I left Auckland Inst June niv nssets in New Zealand w,re in excess of my liabilities; (2) that mv purpose in leaving New Zealand was to undertake a combined business and health trip to England and America; (3) that on the date of which, in my absence, I was adjudicated bankrupt my assets i„ New Zealand were in excess of mv liabilities It has been proved that charges levelled against mc in mv absence were unfounded, and I have been vindicated by ihe order of the t'ourt. If the expectation voiced by counsel for the Ollicial Assignee be fulfilled, the inference i.
