THAMES 0.8. EXCURSION.
The annual excursion under the auspices of the Thames Old Hoy-' Association took place to-day, a large number of old colonists goiii. down to Thames by the Wakatere with tlielr wives and children. Splendid weather favoured the trip down, nnd the programme of amusements at the Timmes. arranged on somewhat the same Hues as on previous occasion., provided •plenty of diversion for the old-timers. Those who must return to Auckland before Monday will leave Thames at _..'.) p.m. tomorrow, but for Hie convenience of excursionists who desire to stay over the weekend the ti.-i.-er_ have been made available until Tuesday.
