Tbe manager's report for the week ended December 16 states that the crosscut at 800 ft. south is now out 33tt. 6ln. from the faanglngwall of the south drive, and the laet eft.\6ln-. has penetrated quartz. The auartz. which is of a hard nature, shows Thodentte freely, which is a good indication for values T>etng met with. TUe hangingwall Is not yet exposed. BRADFORD WOOL MARKET. LONDON, December 18. Wether mutton cannot be quoted. Rather slow trade in lamb at last quotations, except for -second class quality, which Is feeling the effect of Australian competition. The total quantity offered was larger than at any previous series this year, and the great bulk has been sold.
