BANDITS IN COLORADO.
BANK MOTOR HELD UP. SUM OF £10,000 SEIZED. LOXDOX, December 10. Seven bandits held up a federal Reserve Hank motor car in front of tlie L'nitod States mint at Denver. Colorado, and escaped with 200,000d0l of currency. The bandit- drew up in n closed car just us the bank car was leaving the mint. Covering the bank car driver and guard with shotguns and revolvers, the robbers transferred tiic money to their own car. Tlv guards of the mint opened lire on ilie bandits, who. daringly standing on llic kerb, lired fusillade after fusillade, breaking the miut windows and riddling the doors. The employees inside the mint rushed to the windows and opened lire in support of the guards. Suddenly the bandits sped away amid a hail of shots. The bank car driver and cue guard were wounded.— (A. and X.Z.)
