GERMAN SHIPBUILDING.
MAKING GREAT HEADWAY. FOUR BIG LINERS. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, December 19. German shipbuilders are continuing to jnake great headway. The first of four 22,000 tonners has been launched for the Hamburg-Amerika Line. Two will be employed to deal with the expected German emigration rush to South America. Herr Hugo Stinnee is strengthening the East Asiatic service by three 9000 tonners, and numerous smaller companies are building and purchasing steamers and opening up new routes.— (Reuter.)
