REBELLIOUS TRIBESMEN.
RISING NEAR KHARTOUM. PUNITIVE PARTY SENT OXTT. CAIRO, December 12. Punitive operations are in progress against the Angossßiia tribesmen in the ,Sennar district, in the Sudan, in the Blue Nile. 160 miles from Khartoum, who recently murdered five civilians and two police and later attacked polico headquarters at Soda, but were beaten off.
It is reported that a party belonging to the punitive expedition, mistaking its comrades in the darkness for the enemy, fired, killing an officer and a private of the Arab Corps.— (Rcutcr.) 0
