MIGRATION SCHEMES.

VISITOR'S HOPEFUL VIEW. LONDON, December 13. Major Belcber, who recently toured the Dominions on behalf of the British Empire Exhibition, in an interview in the Press, warmly praised Australian migration efforts" "What the Dominions want," he said, "are men who are willing and men who will work. There will be failures, of course, but one must'remember that the percentage of failures who write complaining letters is infinitely higher thaii the percentage of successful migrants who write letters of thanks. Any scheme which shows a definitelymarked success of 60 per cent is -worth while. I believe that some of these Australian schemes will reach SO per cent." (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
