Miss Jenny Cullen. leader of the Xew South Wales Stat" Orchestra, is on board the Xiagara, which is due at Auckland on Friday. A Grammar .'■k'hool gathering of particular interest will take place at tlie Howe Street School grounds on Saturday afternoon at 2.30. when a presentation will be made to Mr., Tibbs on behalf of old girls of the Symonds Street Grammar School who attended during Mir. Tibbs' ihead-masterslii.p, and an imitation being extended by advertisement to those witih whom contact has been lost through lapse of year*. The executive is looking forward to an extremely interesting reunion. An "At Home" was held yesterday afternoon in St. Mary's Hall." It i was the wish of the president that musical and dramatic circles should combine and appoint a convenor for each, so that they could supply entertainment on ■ social evenings. Mrs. Overton Smith, explained the financial position and tlie new arrangement in connection with luncheon. Mrs. Dickenson read the proposed alterations in rules, which were {passed after discussion, while Mrs. Tlloomheld referred to various lunehc.in room questions. The lounge was decorated with ma&s«* of magnificent hydrangea, and after the meeting afternoon tea was served.
