G.T., fell in the war, and we never needed beer or whisky, even with all the pioneering difficulties and hardships. I have seen many of the ]ioor old pioneers go down through drink, but never knew one made richer or better by it; so T must vigorously protest against the lk]uor neoplv making ">e of us to bolster up their falling trade.— Yours, D.
