FIXTURES FOR AUCKLAND. The Arbitration Court opened its Auckland sittings this morning. Mr. Justice Frazer presided, and with him were Messrs. W. ck-ott, employers' representative, aotl M. J. Mr. Bartrr said that he had received no definite information regarding that matter. In Auckland the matter.- in dispute were wage-, limitation of apprentices and overtime, while in Wellington the employers had not agreed to anything. The unions had desired a Domrnion conference, but this ha 1 been declined by the ironmasters. His Honor said that in the meantime he would hear the Auckland evidence, but he hoped that some agreement would j be reached in connection with the! matter in the South. Mr. Barter ad'Vd that he had another, seven dispute- following ; n connection; ! with the dispute under discussion, and,, therefore, it did not mike muc'.i differ- \ ence. PICNIC DAY. Several applications to attach panics to awards were dfalt with. Seventy-nine grocers were added, the union's representative stating that they had sprung up like mushroom- since the Court wn- last here.
