OBITUARY.
DEATH OF MRS. H. HANBY. Her many friends in Auckland will regret to hear of the death of Mrs. Hanby. wife of the Rev. H. O. T. Hanby, Christchurch- Mrs. Hanby was the younger daughter of the late Dr. T. 11. , Kcnderdine. For some time she had i been suffering from the after affects of I influenza and finally succumbed to , a heart attack. Sir. Hanby was formerly in Auckland and was well ■ known in the Diocese, in the Taumarunui district, and wherever ho was stationed Mrs. Hanby was always a great help to him and very popular with the parishioners. MRS. MARY HARDLEY. Tliere died at her -residence, Regent Street, Hawora, on Friday last, Mrs. .Mary Hnrdley, at the ripe age of 87 y«rs. Deceased was born at Hinfrliain. ! Nottinghamshire, England, and arrived lin the Dominion by (lie ship Columbus. 4.. years ago. For 22 years she resided at Cliarlestown nnd Westport, on the Wc>t Const of the South Island, and 'J6 years in Haw-era. Mrs. Hardlev made many friends and was greatly respected by all who rarne in contact with her. Her late husband, Mr. HardJey, predeceased her 10 years asro. She is survived by three sons. Messrs. George, Joih.n and Isaac, of Auckland, and one daughter, Mlas. A. Patten, of Hawcra. REEFTON'S OLDEST RESIDENT. fßy Telegraph.—Press Association.) I REEFTON, this day.
