COCKATOO ISLAND DOCK.

SYDXEY, thir- day. The Commonwealth has received two offers for the purchase of Cockatoo dock. A sviidicate of engineers offered a miland Mr. Green, a member of the House of Commons at present in Sydney, was instructed by an English steel firm to endeavour to acquire the dockyard.
