WARNING FROM FRANCE. ANTI-MACEDONIAN ACTIVITY. LONDON, September 24. Belgrade advices state that the French president of th e Inter-Al.'ied Liquidation Commission has sent a Note to the Bulgarian Government demanding the dispersal of South Bulgarian friendly societies, alleging that they are merely revolutionary organisations directed against Macedonia. The Note has enraged the Bulgarians, who are supporting the Macedonian campaign. They express dissatisfaction with France's attitude.—(A and N.Z. Cable.) Major Neate, of the Allied Commission in Bulgaria, in company with a French officer, discovered a cellar in which were 50,000 shells, believed to have been voncealed. Four gendarmes arrested and detained him for several hours at an hotel, where he heard many lorries passing. These, presumably, were removing the shells. Apologies have been made.— ("Times.")
