At other pointa the rails were torn up and culvert- and bridge.! damaged. Irregulars raided the Grand Canal lioats and looted much property. Numerous ambushes occurred in Cork County. Tho Free State troops claim that they killed seven irregulars.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) GUERILLA "WARFARE. TACTICS OF THE REBELS. STARVING THE PEOPLE. LONDON", September 24. All telegraph and telephone wire* and railway line., in County Kerry have been destroyed by rebels, who have concentrated most "of their forces in the mountains, and aro carrying on operations ] villi renewed activity daily. Free Stnters are hampered by broken bridges and barricaded roads, and are constantly ambushed from mountain tops. A strong force is required to dislodge the rebels. The plight of the civil population Is serious, lirigandage is rampant, and hundreds of families are without work and on the verge of starvation. The object of the rebels seems to be to starve.
