Yesterday afternoon the Arahura arrived at Auckland from East Coast ports with passengers and cargo, and berthed at tbe Queen's wharf. She will sail for Napier nnd Glsborne at three o'clock to-morrow afternoon. The Manaia, which arrived from Whan- I garei yesterday morning, has betn ter- j porartly withdrawn from the northern [ trade In order to be overhauled. Her run- | ning to Whangarei will be taken by the | Rarawa, which arrived from Onehunga early this morning. The Rarawa Is an- j nounced to leave Auckland for Whangarei at 10 o'clock this evening. , ULIMAROA LEAVES SYDNEY. j The Huddart Parker steamer Ulimaroa left Sydney for Auckland at noon on Saturday with ISO passengers. Bhe 1b also bringing 1 1200 tons of cargo, and is due here on Wednesday. She is announced to leave here for Sydney again at 11 a.m. next Friday. WAIHORA FROM CALCUTTA. The Union Company's steamer Waihora arrived at Auckland from Calcutta via ports on Saturday, and after medical examination berthed at the Qneen'a wharf. She brought a cargo of boneduet, gunnies, spices and other general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dnnedin. ARRIVAL OF MAINDY COURT. Yesterday morning the Malndy Court arrived from Bunbnry, West Australia, via Lyttelton, and berthed at the central , wharf. The vessel brought 293,550 feet of i hardwood for discharge at Auckland. After I she has put out this cargo, She Will pro- I ceed to Tauranga to discharge about | 80,000 sleepers. FEDERAL STEAMERS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise the following movements of steamers of the Federal Line from West Coast ports of the United Kingdom:— The Kent will sail on October 14 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Otarama Is due to leave on November 18 for Auckland, Wellington, Lytteltou ami Dunedin. fin December 9 the Kaikoura will leave fur Auckland. Wellington, Lvttelton, Dune- ■ lin mid Bluff.
