WIFE'S FRIEND DYNAMITED.
iEXPLOSIVE TRAP IN "MOTOR CAR. The climax to au alleged illicit love affair between nn estate agent of Sull van Indiana, John Eberbart. . and the pretty young wife of an explosive expert named Hale, was the death of the forinr nnd the arrest of Hale on a charge of hay ing blown his alleged rival to pieces with dynamite. It is said that Eberbart. who was married only a few weeks ago. and Mrs. Hale had been friends for some time. Some days ago the seven-year-old son of Hale innocently mentioned that his mother had been riding in Eberharfs motor car. Eberbart went to his garage to take out his car. While his wife stood by he took his seat preparatory to backing the car. When he pressed the knob of the selfstarter there was a terrific explosion, which practically tore him limb from limb. The body fell among the ruins of the blazing ear and was burned to cinders. An examination of the ruins of tbe car revealed the fact that three Btlcks of dynamite had been placed under the scat and connected with the self-starter battery hy copper wires. The arrest of Hale followed.
