"ENEMY SCIENTISTS."
LIFTING THE BAN. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. A conference of the Australian National Research Council discussed the wisdom of admitting works from socalled enemy scientists, and by unanimous opinion favoured termination of the ban fixed in Paris in 1918, by which. German and Austrian scientists were barred from membership of the International Research Council. It was resolved that the position he reconsidered, and that representations l>e made to the proper authorities in London with a view to effecting a change.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
