POOR HARVEST MKEIY. LONDON, August 15. The "Daily Chronicle" states that J Owiiif tn persistent rains, cold nights, t and absence of sunshine since mid-Tune, the British wheat harvest is expected to be inferior to last year's, both in qu«lty and quantity. But, while this will hit farmers hard, it is not likely to affect consumers, owing to the plenteousness of overseas supplies.
