A reduction of one penny per Ib wa* made in the wholesale price of first-grade Canterbury butter this ■morning, this action being in sympathy with the lower rates now ruling for New Zealand butter on the J-ondon market. The retail price of standard brands is now 1,10 per Ib, butler in groevrs" own wrappers being sold at 1/9.
