BIG INCREASE IN EXPORTS. LONDON. Augnst 13. llie Pioard of Trade returns for July show that the value of imports into the L'nited Kingdom inceased by £1.281,761, compared with the previous duly. Exports increased by f 17.246,227. and re-exports decreased by £1,044,918. The principal increases were: In imports, raw cotton £2.780.113, and raw wool £2.720.U18: and in exports, coal i4.oin.BSn. cotton yarns and manufactures £7.070,821, and woollen and worsted yarns and manufactures £1-904.023. Tile principal decreases were: In imports, grain and flour £2,031,817, and coal £4.88.1,430: and in exports, machinery £2.!1.1f1.H70._i A. and X.Z.) The figures for -Inly arc: —Imports. £822*iJiOO: exports. Ci5n.415,0'20: reexports. £11.042.697. The exports are higher than in February. April. May. and .lune. but lower than in January or March.
