SHEARING AWARD.
A FRAUDULENT CIRCULAR. (Received 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Graziers' Association is offering £1,000 reward for information leading to tlie conviction of the person responsible for issuing a fraudulent circular supposed to emanate from the Association, and urging graziers not to persevere in enforcing Mr. Justice Powers' award, adding that after five weeks' strenuous campaigning the reports were most discouraging. The circular warned graziers of the harm already done to the flocks by incompetent shearers who volunteered at award rates.—A. and N.Z. ALL METAL PLANE. MOSCOW-BERLIN FLIGHT. TWO MILES A MINUTE. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, August 11. The "Daily Mail's" Berlin correspondent states that an all metal aeroplane made a non-stop flight from Moscow to -Berlin, 1200 miles, in 670 minutes. — (United Service.)
