EXPLOSION IN SHIP'S BUNKER.

THREE KILLED, FIVE INJURED. NO DAMAGE TO VESSEL. (Received 10.30 a.m.l BOSTON, August 11. The Navy wireless station received a call for assistance from the liner Adriatic, stating that an explosion had occurred in her bunkers. Later the captain reported that he was able to proceed unaided. The ship was 7 1200 miles off New York at the time. Later the captain wirelessed that two firemen were killed and one was missing, while five trimmers and electricians were seriously injured during the explosion. The vessel was not damaged.
