Mass., who is to begin a lee ' .j ture tour throughout Australasia next! Monday evening in Scots' Hall, Symonds : . Street, when he will lecture on Christian ' ■Science, under the auspices of Firdfc Church, of Christ Scientist, Auckland. These lectures, which are given annually, are free, and are designed to give, as far as-is possible in the limited time of a single lecture, not only a clear I statement of what Christian Science is and teaches, 'but also to correct. the . many prevalent misconceptions about I this subject. 4 It k just about fifty-five ' years since . Christian Science had its 'origin; and in spite of ihe opposition it has encountered, its acceptance and growth are remarkable. In the fortyfcwo years since her first church was organised,' Mrs. teaching.! have spread throughout the world, through approximately two thousand 'distinct organisations, and have become a .powerful influence in the lives of millions of people. The Christian Science i,publications, including the' Christian Science "Monitor," a daily newspaper of I universally /recognised - excellence, carry their message-, throughout the world. Mr. Ohrenstein is fully qualified to speak not merely as a lecturer, but as one who claims practical and personal experience.
