BUNKERS BECOME HEATED.
STEAMER OPATVVA DELAYED. It was discovered-yesterday that the coal in the eide (bunkers of the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Opawa had 'become overheated, and in consequence it was necessary to shift about 300 tons in ordeT to bring down the temperature to the normal level. As a result the departure of the Opawa for Wellington has 'been delayed more than two days, the steamer now being expected to sail to-morrow. The Opawa is berthed at the eastern side of the Queen'e" wharf, where she was engaged earlier in the week in discharging general cargo and case oil. This work was completed yesterday and tlie hatches are now closed preparatory to sailing. There is cargo aboard for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney, from Montreal and Hew York.
