WELLINGTON'S UNEMPLOYED.
PROPOSED LOAN OF £10,000. (By Telagrapn—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The City Council decided last night to take steps to raise a loan of £10,000 under the Local Bodies' Amendment Act of 1922 passed) for the purpose of carrying out public works undertoken or proposed to be undertaken for the relief of unemployed, principally the reading of corporation lands, which are to be cut up and sold.
