"That the Dairy Farmers' Union be a non-political body, and have absoltitely no connection either directly or indirectly with any political party, but rely en its support from any Government teat might be in power."

QUESTION OF AFr-DIATION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELX.INGTOX Monday. At a meeting of the Dominion executive of the Sew Zealand Farmers' Union the president, Mr. W. J. Poison, said be had received a request from the "New Zealand Dairy Farmers' Union for a conference with the Farmers' Union, with the object of arranging the affiliation of the two bodies. The resolution passed by the Dairy Farmers' Union stated that they declined to join with any political party. Like the Xew Zealand Farmers L-iiion, they were entirely non-party, flic president said he very much welcomed the attitude of the dairy farmers. The union went into committee to consider the question.
