NEW YORK, July 21. The Australian and New Zealand Press Association interviewed Mr. Thomas Ince, who said: "You are correct in the surmise that the contest for the prize I offered for a trans-Pacific flight, closed in February, 1920. It was a great disappointment to mc that there were no contestants, as at the time I was very enthusiastic on the subject, and was convinced that the flight was feasible. My business enterprises prohibit mc from renewing the offer."—(A. and N.Z.)
