LONDON, July 21. The match Gentlemen v. Players was continued to-day. In their first innings the Gentlemen made 403 for the loss of six wickets. A. P. Chapman (160) and Carr (88) added 150 for fourth wicket. Gloucester 155 ru:is in the first innings and 70 for six wickets in the eeoond, beat Derby 145 and 78. Sussex 301 and 54 for three, beat Warwick 107 and 247. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.) ir (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 21. Notts, 234 and 163, drew with Essex, 108 and 75 for cix wickets. Rain caused poefcponment. Yorkshire, 344 and 22S beat Kent, 259 and 147. Ija-nca-ehire, 158 and 318, for cix wickets, declared a draw with Worcester, 107 and 187 for eight wickets. -"Earn stopped the game. Gentlemen scored 430 and 20 for one wioket, and Players in their second , innings declared with 334 for six wickets. Kuesell 162, Woolley 78, Hobbs 45. The game was drawn.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
