FATAL ACCIDENT.

BABY GIRL DROWNED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, Sunday. The two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Sullivan, of Limbdrick Street, was found drowned in a drain yesterday. The child, the youngest of a family of three, wandered away from home on Friday morning. The" father searched vainly in the neighbourhood, and acquainted the police, who were joined by private partes in the search. At night intimation of the occurrence was flashed on the screens at the picture shows. The search was continued on Saturday, and in the afternoon the child's body was found in a 6ft drain in a paddock a mile from home. The drain contained "in of water.
