DEBATE ON THE ADDRESS. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON", this day. The Address-in-Reply debate on the Governor-General's address commenced! in the house on Tuesday evening, Mr. David Jones, of Kaiapoi, being tua mover, and Mr. C. Mackenzie (Auckland East) the seconder. Probably Mr. T. M. Wilford, the Liberal Leader, will then move his amendment of no confidence. The debate is likely to be left mainly] to Liberals and Independents during the first week, as the Leader of the Labour party will attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour party io* Auckland.
