JAPAN AND GERMANY.
BIG INCREASE IN TRADE. <Recelved 10.30 a.m.) TOKYO, July 2. Official trade reports disclose the fact that Germany is not only regaining her former trade with Japan, but is surpassing it. The value of imports from Germany for the year ended June 1 totalled £8,300,000, which is £2,200,000 above the average of ten ante-war years. In 1902 German imports were valued at £4,800, in 1920 they reached £1,300,000, in 1921 £4,700,000, and for five months of the current year £4300,000—Reuter.
