PRESENTATIONS
A pleasing function took place on Friday afternoon, when those interested in the grain, eeed and produce trade assembled to bid farewell to Mr. R. K. Sinclaire, who is retiring on account of advancing jears. On behalf of the merchants, Mr. F. M. Winston*, in presenting Mr. Sinclaire with a. roll of notee, Raid that it wafl with very deep regret that they were parting with a gentleman of such honour and catecm as Mr. Sinclaire, who had been produce broker and grader in Auckland for o*er •SO years, during which time he had always held the utmost confidence of alt thoite with whom he came into contact, and a man of greater integrity it was not possible to find. The staff of the secretary and treasurer* department of the Auckland Harlxiur Board assembled ladt evening in oTder to say good-bye to Mr. A. M. Elliffe. one of it* members, who has decided to sever hi* connection with the board in order to study for the ministry.
