AMATEUR WIRELESS.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—The V.M.C.A. has now absorbed the Auckland Wireless Club, and as this club will have an aerial on top ot the V.M.C.A. Buildings in Wellesley Btreet and a "set," it is expected tliat a decided improvement in the welfare of the dub ■will ensue. But the amateurs of Auckland seem to think that now they have t&e receiving permits, that transmitting permits will follow as a matter of form, 'but if they expect to get any satisfaction in this respect from the Government I might say that individual efforts are useless. We need combination if we are to secure concessions.— I am, etc., S. G. WATEE, Hon. Sec.
