ROSS SMITH'S FUNERAL.

LAST TRIBUTE TO AIRMAN. ADELAIDE, June 15. Business was suspended practically all over the city at mid-day for the funeral of Sir Ross Smith. The courts adjourned and shops were closed, and during the progress of the cortege tram traffic was suspended. The casket was carried on an aeroplane trailer, bearing the cap, medals, goggles and gloves of the dead airman, and Was followed by returned soldiers, airrojn and 14 State carriages. Dense crowds lived the route. The funeral was one of the largest and most imposing witnessed in Adelaide. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
