I'ierpont Morgan opposes proceeding further with the German international loan il France holds Hie London schedule i> f German payments inviolable Mr. Morgan regards it as futile to study reparations problems for Britain. Belgium, and Italy, who in the aggregate are only entitled to 40 per cent of the reparations. Most of the newspapers strenuously oppose, reduction of the Herman debt except the "Gaulois." which declare* ithat France is moving in a vicious circle. The point is whether it would be more ad van tape ous for France to reduce her debt or to await further opportunities of settlement.
