At present the onh market and source of supply is Auckland uut with direct shipping from the South a great impetus would be given to trade It is stated that if some business house! would send representatives to that dis ■triot it would be to the mutual advantag< of both North and South, as Whakatam is one of the best potential districts ii "™ Zealand, business people there beinj ■willing, and anxious to open, up trad with the South.
